I bought this on a whim to see how it works. I was very surprised. It works great and you don't have to be in a dark or dark room. Works well in normal daylight. Sometimes it's a bit fiddly to move it around to get the right angle, but once it's in place it's great. Suitable for two people or just me when watching a video while waiting for someone in the car. Gives more visibility. You can even use it as a magnifying glass for small jobs like knitting or soldering. (My wife knits, I solder if you're interested.) In general, I'm happy.
