Impressed! Easy to use and no more burning or "old maids "!

I am very impressed! Makes fantastic popcorn very quickly and cleanly. The steam vents are efficient so you get crispy popcorn. And although it's made of lightweight aluminum, the popcorn won't burn as long as you turn the knob a little. Pros: - The lid stays on well but is easy to remove when you need to clean it. - The vents are efficient and keep the popcorn crisp without sloshing hot oil all over the stove. - The gear and handle ensure a secure grip and gentle stirring, so your popcorn doesn't burn easily. - Aluminum gets hot quickly. The process is quick. Hubby dropped ours and scratched the bottom edge, but luckily it wasn't enough to get in the way of the stirrer. - Not dishwasher safe, but still easy to clean with soap and water or just wipe down. - There is a slight learning curve to figuring out the temperature setting for your particular oven. .Tips: I have used this recipe and method with great success.1. Add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a cold pan along with 3 popcorn kernels. Heat over medium heat until you hear all 3 cores pop. Turn off heat.2. After turning off the heat, add 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and 1/2 packet cold butter, cut into at least 4 pieces and mix well. Let sit for about 30 seconds to gently melt the butter and soften the corn husks, allowing the corn to fully pop and minimizing the appearance of "old maids". Turn the heat back on to medium or medium, depending on your stove. Keep turning the knob slowly. The popcorn will start popping quickly and violently in a few seconds. Turn carefully.4. If the corn is popping, it will become more difficult to stir as the pot fills up. At this point, just move back and forth to keep it moving. Once the sizzle subsides and there is a little time between pops, you can transfer it to a bowl. Just gently tilt it in the non-latching direction and you're done. Salt and season to taste. This method distributes the oil evenly over all of the kernels and prevents the oil from scorching or the popcorn from scorching. And if you first let the popcorn heat up a little in a warm pan, you get huge, fluffy, crispy grains. So delicious! I would buy this pan again. That is a lot.
