Error loading media. I was excited to learn about this set as I have long wanted to make my own encaustic paints and use them in resin molds as well. The set had a wide range of colors which I was very happy with. There are many shades of red compared to other colors. They also look good, fit my hand well and seem suitable for makeup. They weren't too see-through so you couldn't see the color, and they can be built up for more complete coverage. In the video, from left to right, I used: Zine, Deep Blue, Coffee (my favorite so far) and Orange at the bottom. Each bag weighed around 5 grams or more, with the purple one weighing more than just 7 grams. This set also included spoons, for which I am very grateful! This makes it easier to grab the mica and keeps my fingers from becoming a pearly mess. Although that would be nice! I am very happy with it and can't wait to start creating.
