. I bought these for 1.5 liter wine bottles. The wooden cork leaked through the cork hole when I stored them horizontally in the fridge. I've tried them and they are easy to install and don't leak even when the bottle is held on its side. I've also used them to replace the wooden stoppers on all of my oil and vinegar containers. They are very flexible and seal all my bottles well, from the smallest 8 ounce carafe to the 1.5 liter wine bottle. I used them all in five minutes and ordered another set of five. Black rubber with a stainless steel tip looks much more elegant than a wooden or plain rubber cork.
