OK so based on the reviews and the fact that they are similar to another set I have previously bought I thought that it's perfect for my needs, which was basically half a dozen good flats, some round ones that I was able to straighten, and I like the dual strands of black/grey mixed media plastic bristles. I need a set of brushes like mixed media, good quality water and acrylic brushes that are smooth and free of stray hairs and won't tear my paper, paste spatulas, dope primer brushes and all sizes for washing details on faces. I was hoping that this set would offer me these beautiful flat and round shapes in different sizes. Complements: The brush I chose for the primer is completely useless and to be honest I don't even want to use it for the primer. or something else because it has rough, weird plastic-like bristles sticking out everywhere and we have a popsicle-like grip. I just don't see any fun in using it. The spatula is good, I already had one. That's a good size. But sponges? Garbage. I don't understand why they are worried. They don't even look like the typical yellow sponge you see in those cheaper sets. I have a few of these and they are bulging and cratered. Not sea sponges but I think they try to make them look like that. As another reviewer noted, I only use sea sponges and don't even know anyone who uses them. Most use sea sponges for effects, so I'd say just add a sea sponge. BUT. They put the sponges in and pulled them up there so that the sponges were flat, compressed so much that deep grooves were left on them by the handles of the brushes. What on earth is it?! Why do? So, if the customer is paying for these things, why are you casually throwing and destroying them? Not normal. I threw away one sponge and the other had a whole bunch of ridges so I'll see if I can turn it into a texturing tool. I almost threw the brush away but decided to save it to dust off the eraser. It's just useless. Unfortunately the quality I was hoping for isn't there and I find them flimsy, the heads are too long making them brittle so I doubt the control I will have, I had a lot of loose hair. pinch with tweezers, there is no such thing with a plastic brush and it should not be, some brush heads are cut unevenly. One was deformed from being crushed by a sponge, and of course it was one of the apartments needed! you are skinny I was really hoping they would be like Dugato or Artify, but no. I mean the case is cool but I don't need another case so I just got the brushes out and put them in a mug. These are great for on the go (except for the spatula and sponge - don't do that!). Only time will tell if I like them and if the length and thinness of the head will suit me. I will paint tonight. But overall I'm disappointed and wish I'd look for another brand again because the price might seem great but for what you get and the quality it's not at all. I got a case with a great set of good brushes that I like for $12 and I was just disappointed. POSSIBLE as they are still charging money for a Prime membership to ship within 1-2 weeks and then misrepresenting the product in the most careless, thoughtless packaging. Then when they don't give you options so we're forced to go to FB to try and speak to the person, you act like basic customer service is disruptive and condescending towards your customers. Yes I would return it for something more suitable and quality but not in such a mess. I'm shocked that the ratings are so high and I have my suspicions. Revane, I said I understand the Covid situation. But the price increase in particular is unacceptably bad, which is unfair and, in my opinion, borders on bulging. I'm homebound, so I've been in this situation for many, many years. Let me tell you that there are countless companies that are considerate, ship quickly, deliver high quality, and don't interrupt all communication for customer service. Although I usually love shopping here, I'm literally exhausted and feel like I won't take any more chances. My Prime membership was useless and I once bragged about how awesome you are. I guess I just don't want to hear from you how wonderful you are when you actually drop the ball. That really annoys me. I've always loved and relied on Revain. I sincerely hope that when all of this is over, you will return to your original size. For real. I need Revein I'd return this, but I don't want to deal with trying to find a support person and I won't go through this mess, so I'm hoping to at least get some of the brushes to use. . I'm not sure. And I don't trust review sections. Here, too, serious reforms are needed. I will not leave Revane. I find a lot of great things here, sbd I'm homebound, but I'm sure I'll get more and more tired somewhere else. If they can get my order here in 3 days and you charge a week plus with prime you still charge for then you can do better. These brushes, no 90%, no way. I'm mad at myself for trusting him. Now I can't afford to buy what I expected!
