Works on my Sanyo CMH1972A system with some limitations

I bought a house with two mini split systems, each with two indoor units, four total. I got two of these remotes that worked fine after I programmed them. I am ordering two more to have a remote control for each device. They work quite satisfactorily for normal use, but could not be used to put the system into test mode due to the lack of some branded buttons. If my systems were fully functional, this would not be a problem. It turned out that both systems were defective (no connection to the remote controls). They seem to be losing their time settings as well as device code programming, which confuses me. BTW the code is 544 for my 2011 Sanyo CMH1972A.

Pros

Programming is easy and the buttons are easy to read. The handy and lightweight design makes these remote controls the perfect accessory for air conditioning.
