We've towed our 3000 lb RV twice now with my minivan with this weight distribution kit and we'll definitely notice the difference! The rear of my minivan doesn't sag, and the front (where my braking and acceleration power is) stays where it's supposed to. The chain rods that connect the hitch to the RV are a bit tricky to install every time - you have to rotate the rod almost parallel to the minivan bumper to make sure it's in the right position before actually cutting the rods. Your posts are on the brink and it takes a decent amount of momentum; However, once installed, they don't go anywhere. And I feel a lot safer when most of the weight is distributed in the front of my front-wheel drive car.
