This is quite a large dollhouse that seems made for younger children, doesn't it? The house itself is quite difficult to assemble. There are instructions but they are not very detailed. There are cute items such as a bathtub, a bed, a clothes rack, a place for a sink and a swing seat. But some of the other furniture looks cheap and flimsy. They don't appear to be made for the same doll. Speaking of dolls, they are too big to fit in any furniture. They seem to fit in a moped, but the car is very small. Even a dog doesn't fit in the car. The dog is the only one that can accommodate many items. Is this the dog's dream house? The dog slides very well on the rotating slide and it's fun! The electrical part of this kit is also weird. Children's faces flash in different colors when the button on the back of the head is pressed. There is a button in the roof that plays music. It turns off after a while. The castle-like towers also flash all colors, but once the batteries are in they can't be turned off unless the batteries are removed, which I don't think you would want your child to do. Batteries are included. We left them on to see if they turn themselves off. no They lasted from Wednesday afternoon to Monday afternoon. I just don't understand the non-shutdown situation. The walls are made of cardboard and need to be maneuvered to fit into rooms in the house. Once assembled, the house cannot move easily. The towers stay, but they don't stay together by sliding etc. There are also stickers that don't seem to go anywhere, like the piano keyboard, fire in the fireplace, etc. It's just an odd set. I like some of the elements, but it doesn't all fit together. However, your child may not care.
