I was looking for a portable FM speaker to replace my old dying one. Yes I know FM is obsolete and everyone just uses their phone to connect music. Bla bla bla. I love the radio and don't use the phone. I'm old and inflexible, so what? I have ordered 3 different "non-branded" devices within 3 weeks for between $50-$70. They all sounded great, they were all different sizes and ALL had no FM reception! It turned out that the electronics of each of them were exactly the same for all of them! The same control scheme and the same terrible FM. I even ordered one with an antenna. It was so bad that I opened it up and found the antenna cable was simply screwed into an empty spot on the electronics board. It was fake! Then my son found it. I took a risk and bought a certified one. I opened it up, turned it on and tried FM and I had a wonderful sound! Almost every station sounds clear, speakers are clear, Bluetooth connects quickly, solar panel charges quickly. The only negative I can think of is that many functions have different buttons and for some you always have to press the same button for other options. Just weird. But great radio. Buy it again without a second. Thought.
