Great item SHTF - Radios
I tried it but works as described. I bought this for my SHTF package. I didn't want the batteries to be needed in an emergency. I don't know durability, time will tell. There's just enough light, not super bright, but enough to light the way. Actually, the radio works fine. For the price I think it's worth buying.
