Heads come off easily and screws are brittle. The special drive used for this head is worse than Phillips for stripping. I didn't use tool screws to just install 2 x 6 decking boards. They seemed to work pretty well until I had to remove a few boards to fix a hidden problem. The heads slipped off when I tried to unscrew them. I had to lift the boards up and then drive the screws through the boards from underneath. Then I could usually unscrew them without removing them. Sometimes I had to knock them out even further with one punch, then grab them with wire cutters and unscrew them. Many screws were broken. I removed all of those screws and threw them in the trash along with the rest of the box. The same result is achieved with GRK sheet metal screws, but the heads never break off and they are much less brittle. I have years of experience screwing with cordless screwdrivers without removing their heads. I've never had any problems with GRK.
