Review on πŸšͺ Prime-Line C 1280 Mortise-Style Sliding Door Handle Set - Easy Replacement for Old, Damaged Handles - Right- or Left-Handed Doors - White Diecast, 3-15/16” Mounting Holes by Paul Sanchez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The grip is good. Hardware - no.

I see other comments saying the same thing. It comes with 4 long screws to hold the panels together on opposite sides of the door. The screws are too long. I assumed the kit should have 2 long screws and 2 short screws, which was a mistake as you only need 2 screws. I used old screws from the pen I was replacing and blacked out the heads with magic marker. Then 4 teams attached the handle to the plates. 2 of them were too long. So I used a lock washer on two of the bolts, which shortened their reach. Then the locking lever fell off. The lock washer was missing. So I had to dig up the old one. The grip itself is good, but the hardware is terrible and there's no excuse for $300.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
