The latch keeps the door closed and the electronic lock works fine but the door open sensor failed after a few months. I bet if I rip this one apart I'll find a switch inside that's the same brand as the last one that failed. They should have spent the extra dollar on a better microswitch when they were charging double for a cheap door latch. I'm tired of changing the door lock. You only get 2 stars because of the good workmanship and fit, otherwise it would be a great replacement. create service parts. People like me changed the switch and left a 5 star rating based on how easy it was to fix the switch rather than replacing the entire door latch.
