Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK TL-WN822N, white by Dimitar Kostakev ᠌

I am very upset, the product is no good.

Ten years ago, at the Mitinsky radio market, I was discouraged from purchasing a TP-LINK router by well-known vendors. The ZyXEL worked perfectly, and I'm still happy I tried it. My smartphone, the TP-LINK Neffos Y5s (review available on YM), dates back to a year ago. The condition was so bad that he gave it to his daughter as a spare so she wouldn't have to risk breaking it. Here's a Wi-Fi adaptor that TP-LINK has finally been able to sell. To top it all off, he settled down in the hamlet, and you can't buy ZyXEL anywhere around here. My dealings with this manufacturer are now complete. __ I used a tambourine to drum toward the direction of Internet distribution from this adapter, as I need it as an access point from a PC. The only thing that worked was: First, plug in the gadget, then install the driver (ideally followed by a computer restart). Second, we hit "Start," then "search," and type "cmd." Step 3: Invoke the Admin Command Prompt Enter the following at the command prompt: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid="MyHomeInternet" key="pass12345678" keyUsage=persistent 4. Where "MyHomeInternet" is the name of your wireless network and "pass12345678" is the password you'll need to access it. 5. We input (push) Enter, and the AP is formed. In clause 2.3, we enable the access point with the command: netsh wlan start hostednetwork. The seventh step is to input (press Enter). Connect to the internet via the open hotspot! You must always type and perform the netsh wlan start hostednetwork command on the command line as Administrator before the access point will turn back on when you switch on the machine, restart, or unplug the adapter. (change start with stop to disable the wireless router) Create a.bat file with the line netsh wlan start hostednetwork to make turning the access point on and off a breeze. Simply right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator" to launch it in administrator mode. To learn how to make a.bat file, just go online and search. It's as easy as that.

Pros
  • No.
Cons
  • The TP-LINK Wireless Configuration Utility, which makes configuring the adapter a breeze, is unavailable for V5, the most recent edition. In addition, this program is unlike its predecessors; it cannot detect the hardware. The bundled WPS program is installed but refuses to launch in any conventional way. Neither broadcasts nor receives any other wireless signals. (Win-7) PS was disheartened to see that the signal reduces to 1 stick in the adjacent room after jumping with a tambourine for 7 hours to force the device to distribute Internet from the PC. The signal completely vanishes after it leaves the 6x8 brick home on the other side of the window where the device is positioned.
