Couldn't remove 'plastic' smell

I wanted to like them but because of the smell I washed them with mild soap and water before first use. I filled up and went for a run. Took a sip after 10-15 minutes of running and my water felt weird. I still can't get rid of the smell of the material in the water... Edit review 11/13/21: The seller refunded me for the purchase and said they were contacting the manufacturer about the smell/odor.
