I ordered this item after getting tired of disconnecting the receiver for my G903 to connect the charging cable. I wanted a cleaner area than the cord that needed to be long enough to use the mouse when I needed to. Mine just sits there and stays where I need it, no tape. The magnets that attach the mouse to the charger are very strong, I'm sure it won't fall off, it takes some effort to take it off as I didn't use tape to attach it to the table. minuses. There is just one thing, charging is VERY slow. So far everything has been fine and I only had to connect the mouse to the cable once. I've tried many different connectors and cables. I've tried a high power USB outlet to see if it charges faster but to no avail. It's just slow, so if you're thinking of putting it on when you leave the table, it's a worthwhile purchase.
