What a beautiful, functional and efficient little multi-blade knife. I have several of these knives and I have to tell you that this is the most efficient of them all due to the handle design, weight and slightly narrower blades. I've been using it constantly since I received it. Three blades, Julien, straight and serrated, very sharp. They are rotated and more or less locked in place by small swivel wheels on the ends of the blades. Many of these cleaners do not have this function. You can hear and feel a distinct "click" as the blade locks into place. I must reiterate that these blades are EXTREMELY sharp so use caution. Fortunately, thanks to the design, this model protects your fingers much better than many others that I have seen and used. I have yet to cut myself on this thing and believe me if there was an easy way I would. As stated in the product description, this knife is dishwasher safe, but like any cutting tool or tool, we are dishwasher safe. If you put this thing in the washing machine where it can rub or hit other metal objects, the blade will eventually dull. Luckily, manual cleaning isn't all that difficult. Just be careful! This is covered by a two-year warranty. Packing instructions (short and sweet) in TWELVE different languages. I thought it was a nice touch. And that brings me to the only slightly negative comment I have. This cleaner is packaged in cardboard that's covered in terribly hard plastic; You know, this virtually indestructible plastic that was made on purpose I'm sure to annoy old folks like me when they try to open it. My god, my locker has to be secure. Better than a brown paper bag I think. All in all a great kitchen appliance and at a very reasonable price. Don Blankenship. Ozarks.
