Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Upgrade Your Engine's Performance with ACDelco GM Original Equipment Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (Part No. 19244500) by Jeff Hill

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worked on Chevy Express 15 pass from 7.4L 2000 - 454

My oil pressure sensor was jumping and didn't seem to register properly. Problem with many machines. I've done my due diligence and cross referenced this part. For those upgrading to a Chevy Express w 7.4l, getting there isn't too bad (note below). You should buy an oil pressure sensor connector. I got mine locally for $10. The item was very easy to remove. I noticed that on my original/installed part, 2 of the 3 pins were removed with some rubber to prevent these pins from shorting out. At first I thought maybe I shouldn't remove the bolts on the new part because the national auto parts store sells a single bolt version. It was a Sunday and I thought to hell with it, and removed and installed the same pins. IT WORKS OUT! The oil pressure sensor was correctly ready again. Well! For those who own an early 2000's Chevy Express with a 454, it will be there once you remove the engine cover in the cab. You can not miss it.
