Bought several of these to replace the stone age doorstops that have always been in my home and I can only imagine how people felt when they first plugged in the power and flipped the switch to light up the room. I no longer have to think about what kind of shoes I'm wearing in order to place my foot correctly to get the doorstop in a vertical position. I no longer have to worry about my bare feet getting scratched by the bottom of the door. I no longer have to bend down like a caveman to pick up a cork when all other efforts have exhausted me. A simple tap of my foot has taken my daily in and out experience to a level I never thought possible without some sort of automated sliding door solution. Despite exaggerations, it was easy to install and felt solid. It made the tiny but frequent interactions with the doorstops around my house that much more enjoyable.
