Installation in about three minutes, folding stopper works perfectly, releasing it immediately returns the stopper to its original position. I like it and give 5 stars.

This is one of the best purchases I've made for my new home. It's on my garage door and I use it all the time to hold the door open when getting things in and out of the garage!

Works well as long as you don't use the included door mounting screws. I place each door on top of a different solid oak door than hardwood, which has had the screws "fall out" after about a month of use. Get real screws from a hardware store to use in place of the supplied Chinese screws.

Bought because I didn't want my kid to accidentally bang the door against one of the doors. Installation was pretty easy except for the top screw. The spring mechanism works fine for me. I wasn't sure about the screws that hold this doorstop in place so I used the ones I had on hand. It had to withstand the force of a 2 year old slamming the door to go to bed. For longer screws I would give 4 stars. I don't think they can do anything with the top screw.

Can't believe I didn't think of this before. Great reaction to a cat climbing into the pantry (previously elastic cord on handles). Very quick and easy installation, spring loaded on and off eliminates any bullshit. The only problem is that I can't find replacement rubber tips. I expect the tips will wear out and in a year or two I won't even know who made them or where they came from. I want to buy spare parts now, I have spare parts for many items at home in a small bag near the job site…

I just reinstalled this doorstop.... I bought the first one in November 2020 and noticed a few days ago that it no longer works. That may sound bad until I tell you that I installed it on the front door of our Chicago apartment building. We have a six unit building and with all the dogs and kids we use and support that door and open it several times a day. I love this doorstop! We have an inside tailgate that we basically have to close to keep the air conditioning inside. Sometimes we have to have it open, which causes problems. Our previous solution involved automatic door closers, which are often found on barred doors. It worked great when the door was closed, but not so well when we had to keep the door open.
