I love apples but I don't like peeling them. I have a hard time peeling an apple due to some physical limitations, so I bought this cottage cheese about 6 weeks ago. I don't bake - I can hardly remember the last time I turned on my oven! At first I liked it; easy, quick - although I had to use a piece of plexiglass to hold the suction. For some reason it just wouldn't stay on the countertop, and my cutting boards are only textured or wood. In any case. I eat an apple several times a week, so I've probably used it between 12 and 20 times in the six weeks I've owned this device. Never had a problem until yesterday, the handle only broke halfway through the apple. (see photos) I am sending it back but not replacing like most apple peeling tools.
