I'm no binoculars guru so there are probably better sets out there that I just don't need for what I'm using them for. I mainly use it for target shooting with my wife as I can see hits and misses on targets that are out of my line of sight. I've used them to check things out in my backyard which is just over 600 feet and I can see everything clearly. They are made of very smooth metal and are a nice weight that gives them a premium feel. They fit easily in my pocket and have the definition of the big ones because my eyes don't even know they're small, they feel great and look great. I was expecting to pay more for this device and was pleasantly surprised at how well they work. At this price I was expecting a cheap device that might work for what I needed, it was risky to buy. Now I recommend them because they work so well. I can actually use them from my bed to see what the temp is on the hall thermostat, not that I do this regularly, just wanted to see if they would work from a short distance and they do. Try them before shelling out money for a more expensive set and by all means avoid the cheaper ones that claim to work too, that's the real deal.
