Review on 🎧 Plantronics Blackwire C5220 Dual-Ear Stereo Headset with Boom Mic - USB-A and 3.5 mm Connectivity for PC, Mac, Tablet, and Cell Phone by Young Rich

Extremely overpriced for very poor performance.

I have had these headphones since the beginning of August, I tried to return them today September 9 but it is too late to return them. Why do I want her back? Considering they cost four times the price of regular phone headphones with a mic, I was annoyed that I was stuck with a poor quality product. I bought these for very long Zoom meetings and the headphones became uncomfortable after an hour of use. The only good things I can say about these Plantronics headphones are 1) very comfortable, soft, no pressure or pinching and 2) I love that they have a USB (computer connection) and a 3.5mm have a jack that I can use with my phone. Complaints: The sound quality is extremely poor. I have $10 kids headphones (but unfortunately they don't have a mic) with great sound (bass, thrills, surround, balanced). Regardless of the settings on my computer (I've even played around with MONO on/off), the sound is terrible, weak, zero base, thin and watery. Don't even try to watch videos or listen to music with them - you have to turn up the volume, and even then the sound gets dirtier, just louder. The microphone is only ah. I had to stick with my old headphones. Don't waste your money or buy a better brand if you have a lot of them.

Pros
  • SOUND QUALITY: SUPERIOR SOUND QUALITY - Noise-cancelling microphone ensures your voice is heard. The sound automatically switches between broadband for telephony and hi-fi stereo for music. SoundGuard DIGITAL protects against noise above 118 dBA, sudden loud noises and prolonged exposure.
