I have a diecast model of the B-52 that my father flew. I broke the plastic fuel tank on the fender (ARGHH). It was held in place by two plastic pins that broke. They had a diameter of 2 mm. I had to drill holes in the plastic blocked fenders and blocked holes in the tank masts leaving only 1mm clearance to the edge of the mast. I am older and very shaky. Well I had no problem centering the drill thanks to the included vise holding the tank in place. I greased the end handle of a hand drill and it worked smoothly. Used two hands. The length was perfect in my hands with long fingers. This is a very well made product. Bits cut well. I started drilling pilot holes with smaller diameter drill bits.
