Review on ☕ Premium 6 Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker: Cuban Coffee Percolator Moka Pot, 10 oz Manual Brewer by Frank Villanueva

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is a process that can be used, makes great espresso but not much crema.

This is an elegant but expensive item. Why they charge almost double the price for a pot resembling the normal 6 cup I don't understand. Only the spout from which the coffee comes is slightly different. There is a huge hole in the lid. I assume these two things help make the foam. The crema is there, although it runs out quite quickly - much faster than with a regular espresso machine. Also, you only get about 4 cups, not 6. If you add more than the 180ml they recommend for water, it will boil away and you'll still lose foam. Pros: Looks good, it's new, and you get cream for about a minute. Cons: price. Almost twice as much as a normal mocha pot, which is already overpriced. Capacity. 4 cups of espresso instead of 6. Recommendation: Buy a cheaper 6 cup glass on Revain by reading the reviews. The crema isn't worth it...and if it is...spend $20 more and buy a low pressure and high pressure manual espresso machine for a great crema!
