Review on 🚲 ICAN FL50 Carbon Road Bicycle Wheelset - Clincher Tubeless Ready Rim, Novatec AS511SB/FS522SB Hub, Sapim CX Ray Spokes - Only 1470g (Fast & Light Series) by Todd Vesci

I have been researching and analyzing carbon wheels for over two years. I found these wheels on the internet about half a year ago and started studying them. I finally decided to give them a try because they have great reviews (I've read hundreds of reviews of the various iCAN carbon wheels available) and they happen to be the best wheels available in the sub-$1500 price range. Took her yesterday for her first trip. I don't regret taking a chance on these discs. Straight and true out of the box. No loose spokes or badly adjusted hubs. The tires (Continental Attack/Force) were easy to mount. On the road, they turn quickly and are easy to maintain at speed. Deliberately taken to a route that has a bit of everything: asphalt, lots of asphalt stains, cracked asphalt, potholes, steep climbs and fast, winding descents as well as long flat sections. These wheels are exactly what I was hoping for and there were no surprises other than good surprises. Solid wheels that never seemed to flex going up steep hills (9.1% level according to my computer) and never felt uncomfortable going down the other side of a hill. On the flats they kept speed well and I accelerated about 2mph more than usual and with less effort. The wind blew steadily at a speed of 8-10 m/s, in gusts up to 12-15 m/s; I could feel the gusts of wind as they hit the wheels, but it never scared me or caused me serious anxiety. Today I checked the wheels (spokes etc.) and everything is as it should be. I am a 180lb rider and one of the reasons I bought this bike is because it is rated for riders up to 240lbs. I wholeheartedly recommend these wheels if you are looking for a very good, cheap, fast and reliable wheelset. Oh yes, they came a week after I ordered them.
