Poor quality control

Bought for bike fitment, rim diameter too large does not fit tires. Tried Specialized S factory tires, Vittoria tires, nothing works. Support sent video of installing with tire changers yes tire changers and they design bigger rims. Don't waste money. blood thumb. UPDATE 6/11/21 These wheels are noodles, I can use my index finger to press the rim against the pads with very little force (note that I keep the pads open because I can force the rim to flex enough to get the touching pads when I'm…

Not compatible with older components

Construction appeared to be good, looked believable and had a nice finish. Nice subtle graphics. I really wanted to keep them but they didn't fit my old Ultegra 6600 calipers. With the new pads there was no gap and couldn't close the exhaust. I heard some people got them working by sanding down the pads but it didn't seem right. They barely cleared the frame even with the 25mm tire. As mentioned earlier, mounting tubular tires was a challenge. I found that I had to mount the tire without a…

Everything is taken into account. . .

All in all these wheels are pretty good. They have good specs: hubs, spokes and rims, although the latter is the only component made locally. Not every avid road cyclist can pay more than $2,000 for a 50mm carbon wheelset that weighs less than 1,500 grams. Perhaps compared to the Enve, Zipp, or similar counterparts on the market, these discs are a bit inferior in manufacturing precision, but again---all things considered, they're an excellent offering. They live up to their name: Fast & Light…

Great wheels for the money * Long term test

Good quality wheels. The tension of the spokes was even, and the spokes with the blades were in the right position. The tubeless setup was pretty easy. Using some good tubeless tape, wrap the wheels twice and use a rag to remove any bubbles from the tape. Stan's 21mm tape fits perfectly. Do not overtighten the valves or they will leak. Bearing and sleeve are smooth. The front is so smooth that the valve rests on the stand on the bottom. I rode them all summer including the Fondo and some…

Great upgrade from my stock clinchers

Great upgrade from my stock clinchers. corrected. I run them with the Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tire, a setup I can recommend. It took me an hour to fit the first tubeless tire and the second tire was fitted 15 minutes later. The trick is to lather the wheel and soak the tires with hot (almost boiling) water. Never use metal or plastic levers when installing a tire - they will fail if they don't damage the wheels. to the shoulders when lowered, but shrinks with a bang. So far, after a month, no

The pulsing of the brakes is terrifying. ICAN is no help.

On my first ride on these wheels I had a severe pulsation under braking. I took the wheels to a mechanic with almost 20 years experience and he checked everything. He made sure all the spokes were properly tensioned and the wheels were perfectly aligned. I went on another trip and the problem remained. I tried cleaning the brake track and pads, flexing the pads, tried every tip I could find. There are no dice. The pulsing was still there. I contacted ICAN and asked them to help with this. They…

You get more than your money's worth.

I have been researching and analyzing carbon wheels for over two years. I found these wheels on the internet about half a year ago and started studying them. I finally decided to give them a try because they have great reviews (I've read hundreds of reviews of the various iCAN carbon wheels available) and they happen to be the best wheels available in the sub-$1500 price range. Took her yesterday for her first trip. I don't regret taking a chance on these discs. Straight and true out of the…
