Buy. I had an older Keurig and the difference in the taste of my coffee is very noticeable. It punches 5 holes in the top of the k cup to make the flavor more intense. This was without the filter on. Still great with the filter. This way you can insert a cup, press a button and walk away. And then it turns off. No need to turn it on and wait for it to say "done". There are three separate personalized buttons that my husband and I use to adjust the strength and temperature of our coffee. He likes strong and hot, 8oz, I prefer mine in my giant 12oz mug, not so hot and not so strong. Just hold the button and your preference will be set.
