Works as advertised with any USB port capable of charging even the largest 12.9" iPad Pro. After all, they charged the Apple Watch. iPad Pro and two and iPhone at the same time. I have a scanner, dock port, lamp, hub, backup drive and exho all plugged in and lots of slots left. Power switches for each row are also useful when the devices are not in use. My only complaint is the glowing red power lights for each row, which are easy to fix with some tape.
