My 5 gallon Betta aquarium has a small immersion heater. I could tell it worked and the water seemed warm, but I was curious "how warm". I glued this to the glass on the opposite side of the hex tank (didn't want it on the same wall where the heater is glued) and it immediately read the temp. Plus, it saved my ass (and cock) when somehow his heater went out overnight (I blame my cats; they're the rulers of the universe) and when I went to feed Elvis I saw the temp drop to 72. Connected to the heater. back and it's getting hot again (hooray). Included picture of the king himself, Elvis, Betta with blue mustard! He's a lucky guy!
