First it came with a faint flashing light. The batteries died halfway through the yo-yo. I blame Duncan for the crappy design. The spring connecting the circuit was constantly touching the battery when the yo-yo wasn't moving. I took it apart and bent the spring a bit. Now it works great. I'm pretty bad at loops, but this one is perfect for beginners. You can walk the dog and sleep with him. All the basics. I have a great 360 loop but wanted something brighter for the upcoming Area 51 Halloween party. It looks like iridescent fish scales that will glisten in the water if you loop fast enough. So I took out the plastic gear and doubled the string over the metal axle. Now I have super oily loops. Love it.
