. Reach 60Hz with HDMI Deep Color setting. It looks absolutely amazing. By far the best I've ever seen on a monitor. I used to have 60Hz to work with my Macbook through the displayport, but the HDMI Deep Color offered by this display looks better than just 60Hz through the displayport, so I wanted HDMI 2.0. I had to use SwitchResX. The Apple Display for this monitor from System Preferences doesn't show the refresh rate for some reason. The difference between 30hz and 60hz is very noticeable anyway, but to make sure I really got it right I installed the csreen app via the homebrew package manager.
