Great Adapter for MacBook Pro 2015 60Hz HDMI Deep Color Support for LG Monitor 27UD58-B 4k

. Reach 60Hz with HDMI Deep Color setting. It looks absolutely amazing. By far the best I've ever seen on a monitor. I used to have 60Hz to work with my Macbook through the displayport, but the HDMI Deep Color offered by this display looks better than just 60Hz through the displayport, so I wanted HDMI 2.0. I had to use SwitchResX. The Apple Display for this monitor from System Preferences doesn't show the refresh rate for some reason. The difference between 30hz and 60hz is very noticeable…

Awesome way to get 3 HDMI monitors on a Mac Pro!

I needed 3 HDMI monitors for audio in my recording studio and this adapter helped. I have a 2013 Mac Pro and while it allows 6 video outputs it's not entirely clear how to do that. and only two HDMI options are listed. I've tried many possible connections, including trying to use Apple Airplay to mirror the cockpit video monitor, but was only able to get very choppy output. How I got 4k@60hz working on my Macbook - don't give up!

First of all, Plugable has been very helpful and has always responded promptly to my support requests. Special thanks to David for his help! I bought this adapter to use my Samsung 4k TV as a secondary monitor for my 2015 Macbook Pro with Retina via the TV's HDMI 2.0 input. I tried this with my Intel NUC (Skull Canyon) and encountered recurring episodes where the audio was completely cut off (NO AUDIO), especially when switching between media files with different audio formats (eg , Dolby to DTS-HD, etc.).
