It's not very good even for a beginner, and it comes with a defect.
Bought for Muay Thai. At first I thought they were supportive enough for a beginner but not enough for real sparring. They hurt my shins with every right punch. My instructor looked at them and told me that he was using them as grappling pads and that really was their ideal use, not full contact kickboxing pads and that I should consider buying leather pads for real protection when sparring. with a manufacturing defect, a pea sized frayed hole around the heel seam that has since grown after 5-7 hours of training.
