This is a relatively light, very easy to use monopod that doubles as a decent tripod and looks exceptionally good. I say "decent tripod" because while three legs (about 10 inches or so each) provide a solid base, a stand is of course less stable than an actual tripod. A very nice feature is the ball joint that attaches the monopod to the base/legs - this allows you to tilt the three legs and then align the monopod vertically, which is necessary for stability in this case. And it comes with an additional quick release camera plate so I can have two cameras/lenses ready and swap them out with one another without any fuss. In general very satisfied with the product.
