I use this to carry my equipment (tools, books, first aide, etc.) to and from work. I don't carry it around much and I'm not in and out of it a ton, so I can't attest to it's durability under harsh conditions. I have been using it for over a year now and have had zero issues. I love that the shoulder strap can be looped on either (or both) sides of the zipper. I loop it one way for right shoulder carry, the other way for left shoulder carry, and if I have an extra heavy load I can use both. My only minor complaint is that the rubber guards on the handles are a little big and can be uncomfortable, but if they bother me too much I can always just cut them off. They are loose around the handles.
