I was hoping to use it for various devices including a Wi-Fi antenna and Bluetooth but it didn't seem to produce enough amps to power everything to supply. I think the 4-pin minijack is only rated for 10W, which is about the same as the power of any single USB 3.0 port. For high performance requirements like hard drives or antennas, you'll probably need a little more. If you were to use it for specific low-power purposes like 8 memory cards, it would probably work just fine. I ended up sending it back, they accepted and processed the return very quickly. Too bad it did not work.
