For when you cut a wire to use and the client says lets move it 10ft.

So these come in great hand for when the client has you cut a wire to use, you get it all done. Then during the final walk through they are like how about we move this terminal 20 ft that way ---> . Instead of running an entire new run, slap one of these badboys on there and call it a day. So far these have been fantastic. Very little, if any, degradation of signal.
