When using aftermarket lens kits, I've noticed that the macro lens is the most commonly used in that package. I have also lost or broken many of these lenses. I have a Lifeproof Fre SHOT iPhone 6 case with a wide angle lens that screws right into the case (love it). However, I never use wide angle and was hoping this macro lens would do it. It's good that it worked and I'm very happy with it. The price was very reasonable. Olloclip makes a macro-only kit, but the $80 price tag is a little more than I'm willing to spend. Macro 24x has serious "vignetting" (only the center of the image is in focus), and I'm not sure if this is inevitable. Attempting to zoom in on the iPhone's camera that much effectively magnifies in-focus details. Overall I'm very satisfied and would buy it again if I lost/broke it. I added lens photos on my phone and some zoomed in lenses of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and some of the pills that were lying around. Oh yes, I use Clip when I need close-ups on my iPad 10.5" and it fits. Well.
