I bought this based on the price and reviews. I'm one of those people who likes to fix things myself whenever possible, but if you're unsure, consult a professional. Before buying, you should watch 1Aauto's YouTube video on how to replace this yourself and make sure you have the right tools. Phillips, flat head, Torx T20 and T45 are required. Be careful not to damage the plastic clips in the door panel when removing. Blue glass is not desired ex works, but bearable for the money. Once the broken mirror was removed, I found that the OEM VW foam padding was different than the new one. The pillow that came with it wasn't as good as the original so I used the old one instead. I did the whole job in 35 minutes. I would recommend this part. I'll update it once I drive the car for a bit.
