I have taken a liking to Geeni/Merkury Innovation (referred to as GEMI in the remainder of this review) tech lately, especially their lighting!I bought this light to flood backdrops for my photo studio I’m putting together.My favorite part of all the GEMI smart lighting is that it’s all streamlined into one app. This includes security cameras, doorbells, window sensors, etc.The app has its own issues but that separate.Using the app however, you get a very simple UI to control the lights. These connected very easily.My biggest complaint is that the color mode isn’t very bright, compared to the white mode. I would’ve like the lumen measurement to be across the board. However, for my purposes, I can work with it.These would also work well as accent/mood lighting in living spaces.I truly love the GEMI products and can’t wait to add more to my inventory!
