I bought a 29" x 55" towel to use as a beach towel when traveling. I ended up using it every night to squeeze water out of my handwashed clothes to let them dry overnight. (I spread the towel out on the floor, laid my wet clothes on it, rolled them up, and stood on the roller to squeeze out the water.) It's amazing how much water got wet on this towel. In contrast, when I had to use a cotton towel one night, water sloshed through the entire floor and the cotton towel ended up weighing a ton. This towel dried overnight no matter how many clothes I soaked with it. On the other hand, it didn't dry overnight after I hand washed the towel myself (wet it really) and hung it in a humid room, so it has no magical drying abilities. But it's close. It also worked great as a beach towel. It's soft enough. It's hanging in the sand, so shaking it out isn't enough; it needs to be washed. The included carrying bag with mesh on one side is also very well made. To put the towel back, make sure to fold it once in thirds, not just in half.
