Worked great between Yamaha 250hp 2014 and Garmin 74cv echocard. Garmin could read RPM, fuel consumption, oil pressure and more without any additional software or hardware. I used the Model 124-69 NMEA Network Starter Kit purchased from Revain to connect to the backbone. Yes, this is a Lowrance part and is compatible with my Garmin and Yamaha 250hp motors. The hardest part of the installation was routing the interface cable through the engine harness to the boat transom, which is not impossible, just time consuming.
