Works well. It lights up immediately with every wind, easily lights a candle or incense flame, the battery lasts a long time. One star deduction for 2 reasons. Firstly, it feels a little flimsy, it feels like the pieces are loose and not attached properly. Second, you can use it to light a whistle, which is great, but if it's a metal whistle and the arc touches it, you'll get a big shock.
