Review on πŸ“ˆ Bira Craft Platform: Perfectly Precise Stamping Solution by Summer Hendricks

A cheap alternative to expensive stamping tools

I stamp a lot. I am an experienced paper maker and die cut a lot. I currently have two blogs about making maps and two FB pages about making them, and I also work as a designer on another team. I categorically refused to buy Misty. I wanted to wait for a cheaper alternative. I bought the TH platform which was then withdrawn from the market. I decided to purchase Stampingpro as a backup platform and was not disappointed. I noticed that they are no longer available, but I sincerely hope that they will be available later this year. It's the perfect tool for beginners and veterans alike. The spring-loaded retractable legs fit snugly and allow for efficient stamping of clear and unmounted rubber stamps. I noticed that one review said the press gets smudged with black ink. This applies to all die platforms, but they are easily cleaned with Windex, ammonia, die cleaner, baby wipes, and in some cases plain water. It is best not to use archival ink on a stamp press as it is difficult to remove. It's a solid, well made product and I found the design to be similar to Tim Holtz' punch platform. This tool is inexpensive and gets the job done. The ruler is a little hard to read, but very few punchers use rulers for each punch tool.
