We're switching from Corian countertops (a hard surface you can put hot pots on) to quartz, which seems to be a bit more picky about what to wear on it, so I need coasters to hold my counters. They look beautiful in an unobtrusive form. They are silicone which means no heat is transferred to my new counters. They're small enough to hide under almost any pot I have and they fit together when I want to put a giant pot on top. They're thin enough to tuck away in a drawer when I'm not cooking. They're not as good as my mom's solid brass coasters, but they're dishwasher safe, so it more than makes up for it!
