Exactly what was expected. I took a class at a quilt show to learn how to use these patterns. These are soft material magnetic stencils and should be used on a metal baking sheet. The description had metal letters, but after reading the complaints that it wasn't metal, I realized that was what I was looking for. I'm not sure why anyone would want them to be metal if they don't have another system or don't know how to use them. I studied the Rhinestone Genie system.
