The perfect product for any user!

I changed Sigma 85 / 1.4 HSM ART to this lens, I do not regret anything. If that lens simply did not want to get out of the bag because of its weight and size, then this lens wants to shoot and shoot. Compared to the previous version of Sigma, the lens has a much faster AF speed (about 2-3 times), which allows you to calmly shoot sports events, smaller XA, a much more convenient lens hood (I don’t understand why no one thought of this before), a higher real aperture ( about a third of a stop), holds light better, more functionality.

Definitely worth the overpayment of 20-30k relative to the HSM version.
Definitely will be my favorite lens for the next ten years.

Pros

+ High sharpness + Weight and dimensions + Contrast + Aperture + Almost complete absence of HA + Lightning fast autofocus + Comfortable lens hood + Excellent resistance to stray light. + Add. functionality in the form of a clickless diaphragm and a programmable button. + The lens barrel is scratch resistant (or so it seemed to me.)

Cons

- Unusually high distortion for an 85mm class lens, which, however, is automatically corrected in the RAW converter.

I don't know, maybe I'm so lucky with this lens. Sooo often I catch front focus in tracking focus mode (sony a7p3 camera). With single-frame focusing, everything is tight. Sigma support is silent, wrote requests many times, never answered. The lens did not drop, did not swim. If anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to help.
