To be fair this product description 'says' it doesn't fit all size 16 kids bikes. HOWEVER, I can't imagine the bottom bracket of a size 16 kids bike (where the footpeg bolts on) being 2-3 inches higher than the average bike. That tells me it really isn't meant for a mid-size 16 bike. But since I was lazy and didn't want to return it and wait for another one, I decided to just remove the sliding leg piece and use it without it. Then it works perfectly. although it looks weird without the "legs" on the stand. *SO BUYER BEWARE*
