If you are changing the ACE filter on your Land Rover then you probably have a specific problem/condition with your vehicle that you are trying or are trying to fix worried about the kind of people who go above and beyond when it comes to regular maintenance. Either way, you need a quality part. Genuine parts are expensive so we all look for quality alternatives from time to time which is what led me to this filter. When it arrived and I was able to compare it side by side with the original filter I wasn't sure enough to fit it on my truck. In the end I returned it. This filter has about 1/2 the number of baffles compared to the original, and it even appeared that the metal mesh used to make the baffles was more porous than the original filter. Also, the o-ring that came with the filter (used to seal the filter housing cover) was more brittle than the original o-ring that was compressed in the housing for 18 years. the size. It will probably fit and can do its job, but it failed the eye test for me.
